    fag stop sucking at eve

  • cssbarry says:

Only humiliation here is the fact you guys think this is PvP… killing mission boats is easy.

let me give you an example of people that tried to just set optimal distance and orbit. I was in a shield fit hurricane, t2 425′s, 2 medium neuts, mwd, point, shield buff, dcu2, 3 gyros, 2 tracking enhancers. a gang of six frigates, assault, interceptors, and bombers, jumped in and tackled me. they, i assume, set their orbital distance, which put them within 10km. that meant i could neut them out so they couldn’t move and killed all of them : )

  • douglasthew says:

of course you have to worry about your and your enemies velocities. Transversal effects tracking: the higher the transversal the harder they are to hit. Velocity is the ships speed, which not only effects tracking as well, but also signifies what the pilot is thinking: gate crashing, burning off/towards, high sig radius to nail with missles.

Just because it looks like people are just setting optimal orbiting distances in these videos doesn’t mean that’s how you do it lol : )

  • deadjewelry says:

You make it sound advanced when it really isn’t. That’s like saying I have to watch out for my mana and for additional enemies in WoW. Drones, webbing, scram and energy siphoning are pretty much like DoTs that refresh themselves. And do you really care about you and your enemies velocity and transverse v? For most people I saw, it was setting the ideal orbital distance and whoever had the faster ship set the combat distance. In the end, it was just pushing every function key.

  • douglasthew says:

things you have to worry about in combat: distance (personal and target’s), velocity (personal and target’s), transversal velocity (personal and target’s), signature radius in case of missiles, drones, webbing, scram or point (personal and target’s), energy neutralizing/syphoning (personal and target’s), optimal range, tracking speed, watching local to see if more jump in to help, ammunition, , capacitor: just to name a few

  • JovialEel says:

1 billion isk is not a lot of ISK in the grand scheme of things.

  • deadjewelry says:

Well, no. You don’t necessarily need elves and dwarves jumping around to make combat interesting. I just find right clicking an enemy, setting the ideal orbit distance, and then rolling your finger over the Function keys to be extremely boring.

  • douglasthew says:

but yeah, just because there are no magical elves jumping around casting spells at other elves or dwarves or humans, there is no element to the combat experience in EVE; you’re right.

    lulz

  • douglasthew says:

stagnant and monotone? lulz…here’s what you have to be worrying about while fighting someone

distance (personal and target’s), velocity (personal and target’s), transversal velocity (personal and target’s), signature radius in case of missiles, drones, webbing, scram or point (personal and target’s), energy neutralizing/syphoning (personal and target’s), optimal range, tracking speed, watching local to see if more jump in to help, ammunition, , capacitor: just to name a few

I dont know why in eve THE WANNA BE PROS think they HUMILIATion people because they destroy them. Listen look how much time you guys took to bring him down and look how many you were. Humiliation ? I hear in coms people going to get their best ship to bring that bitch down!!! And you say is Humiliation ? Get you works and comments strait. Buy the way , yes very nice kill right there but dont act as Wanna BE and We are the Best and Shit.
    Nice video !

  • 7thdivision says:

omg you guys suck so bad ..

  • AdamTheCelt says:

tbh, you have to experience it, watching it doesn’t do it justice, i thought eve was shit and i was a hater… but what can i say. i love my apoc B/s :) . not that i’m trying to convert you, just saying.

  • deadjewelry says:

I’m guessing 1 billion ISK is a lot and that this is a battle you’ll see in the later stages of the game. Needless to say, I’m not impressed by EVE’s combat system. Stagnant and monotone, to say the least.

  • Beastrox says:

sucks to be the nighthawk pilot who got jumped by a… CORPORATION!!!!! you guys are less pro than him.

  • godsentyes says:

You guys are obviously not pros, but this is a nice kill.

  • ejflesher says:

    Not overly impressed.

  • DetonationXL says:

you are pro’s? its not hard to tank a nightmare with that setup with a myrmi so you proof your pro point wrong.

Actually you guys are pretty sad for needing so much ships to kill a nighthawk + griefing him in local means you got no to nill pvp experience
