EVE Online – Rookie Scanning Tutorial Part 1

SET QUALITY TO 720p OR 1080p TO READ IN-GAME TEXT. A lengthy but in-depth scanning tutorial for rookies with a thirst for knowledge. Critics are welcome and even encouraged, so let me know your feedback! And yes, I know, I didn’t edit the ends of each section at all. But I think you’ll live through the harsh transitions. NOTE: Imicus is a GALLENTE ship. Each faction has its own respective ship types so you should look into what yours is if you are not Gallente.

@rockorsario Oh trust me, I know the feeling. Try scanning 4 systems and finding nothing but wormholes in each one. As with most other EVE professions, scanning will require much patience and perseverance. But if you just stick it out and keep on trying, eventually it will become very, very profitable and fun! :D

    Keep at it!

@krackhed999 thanks i have done that, but i’ve just found two god damn wormholes after a 1 hour search XD

  • krackhed999 says:

@rockorsario That is dependent entirely on the area you choose to scan in. I don’t remember if it goes by region or constellation, but I know one of those two always has the same number of signatures, so really it’s a matter of luck when you scan a system, although some do seem to have a tendency to have more signatures than others. Just pick a few systems out and try your luck! Remember, the lower the security status of the system, the better, but more difficult, your finds will most likely be.
