Welcome to Hi-Phin Let’s Play!!! I’m covering the Eve Online Basic Tutorial These videos are geared towards introducing new players to the Eve Universe. Although this Tutorial is Detailed, I do not zone-in on anything too specific. I’m basically giving a overview of the game. If you like the game after seeing the Tutorials I recommend you get a 14 day trial of the game from the site. With your first trial I’d also recommend that you run through as many different things as possible. If your still impressed after 14 days, contact me for a 21 day trial. With my 21 day trial I can give you a longer trial and a 0mil bonus the day after you purchase your first month from www.eveonline.com.

the main Part of Eve online is the Special feeling when yer ship blows up meaning you had feeling for that one ship mainly cause of isk cost or how long you have flowin with it then the time come you are fighting pierate the out of now yer ship weak a WANTED player Blast yer loveing ship an then you …………………

  • rawhamster says:

@vortex675 Yeah I totally agree, that is a well thought out and presented argument you’ve got there. The guy piloting the logistics ship in the AT7 final is obviously a total newb and it had nothing to do with the fact that he would have been the two Rooks primary target to jam.
PS. Some of the above may well be heavily laced with sarcasm.

@MrJohnny56789 fail at understanding eve online…

  • mwheelhouse says:

@kid29a Yea. I totally see where you are coming from kid. For me, I personally enjoy the game because it requires strategy and planning. I can see how it would seem like fitting is the only part of the game that really impacts things, which is true… but I have found that lots of PVP doesn’t require a good fitting, but being quick to think. Afterburner, orbit 500, afterburner, approach, afterburner, webify, ect. Like wow, lots it based on action – reaction fighting, if you will. Cheers.

  • MasterOfFlash92 says:

@kid29a the word you seek is tactics, team play and tactics.
If you cant work good in a team you can have sick ships and still get raped in the tourney..thats the reason they have it :)

  • kid29a says:

@mwheelhouse If by “noob” you mean “new player” then sure it works. Many new players are let down by apparent complexity of the game, which later turns out to be simply complex-looking interface design with (besides spreadsheet economy) nothing more than WoW-like MMO’s. Well… anyway I wasn’t even commenting on this before – I was just asking – what personal skills you develop by playing Eve PvP? What skills are tested in the Tournament? From what I see it only tests ship fitting.

  • mwheelhouse says:

@kid29a Well. I am glad Eve’s noob filter works.

  • kid29a says:

@pmlaursen I did stop actually ;) just when I realized how much grinding I’ll have to do…

  • pmlaursen says:

@kid29a hahaha.. such a carebear comment, just stop playing if you cant handle it

  • kid29a says:

@njcBlackeyed no, not yet. Please don’t misunderstand me, I don’t mean eve doesn’t cause big emotions nor that it’s mindless nor boring. By “action” I mean everything that’s in games described as “Action” games. Eve seems more about economy and strategy so tournaments in my view test how wealthy teams are.

  • njcBlackeyed says:

@kid29a Have you undertaken any PvP at all?

  • kid29a says:

I’ve been playing trial for a few days and I’m wondering if this tournament was all about “fitting”. Because there is no actual action in Eve, no manual skills you could improve, you just click and wait and all depends on the fitting. I wish this game involved more (any) action but that would probably caused much more server load and 40k players on one server wouldn’t be possible…

  • spandexninja says:

im new to eve online. is this battle a good example of an average battle between corporations? do frigates like the rifter have any place in large scale battles?

  • Mord12gp says:

I remember during my free trial I got a Carical after trading in my Osprey.

    Sigh, I miss those ships
